# WanderScout

> AI-powered travel destination discovery engine. Tell us what you want from a holiday and we find places that actually match, not what aggregators want to show you.

## What WanderScout does

WanderScout is built around one idea: every other travel platform assumes you already know where you want to go. WanderScout doesn't. You describe the holiday you want, climate, budget, vibe, time of year, what you want to do, what you want to avoid, and we search across travel blogs, hidden gems, and the long tail of destinations the big aggregators ignore. The result is a ranked list of places with reasoning for why each one matches your requirements.

## Who built it

WanderScout is built by a small team in Stockholm. We use Anthropic's Claude as the core reasoning engine. We integrate with Duffel for flight and accommodation booking. We use Google Places for destination data.

## How pricing works

WanderScout has a freemium model. Anonymous visitors get 3 searches per browser session. Free signed-in users get 5 searches per week, resetting every Monday. Pro subscribers get unlimited searches. There are also pay-as-you-go top-ups for users who want a few extra searches without subscribing.

## What WanderScout is not

WanderScout is not a flight booking aggregator. We don't compete with Skyscanner or Kayak. We don't show paid promotions. We don't rank destinations by commission rates. We don't have a points program. We answer one question: where should I actually go.
